Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I be sure I'm getting quality training?
A: I believe I train clients well above and beyond any test standard. I coach to stay safe for life and not just to pass the driving test. I do believe you are in charge of how your driving test result will go. If you have been trained in the correct way and feel physically and mentally in tune, the results will usually take care of themselves.
Q: How much notice will I have to give to cancel a lesson without being charged?
A: You need to give a clear 24 hours' notice, either by phone, text or email to me, to avoid being charged for a lesson.
Q: What happens if I fail my driving test?
A: If you were unfortunate enough to fail your driving test then the best remedy is to book in for another test as soon as possible. This way, you probably won't lose or forget the skills you have learnt and will avoid slipping back into bad driving habits or forgetting much of what you have learnt previously.
Q: How do I know if you are a fully qualified Instructor?
A: I will have a fully qualified Instructor Green Badge in the car. It will show my full name, my photograph, my certificate number and my Approved Driving Instructor number.
Q: Mental Health Support – will I get support if I'm finding things difficult?
A: Yes. I have attended courses such as Driver Behaviour and teaching clients with Diverse Needs. I am also very understanding of clients' needs and it is helpful to be married to an Occupational Therapist in Mental Health. Advice is never far away!
